"A classic holiday comedy. Magical" - Chicago Sun-Times
Director Salvador Litvak's first film, When Do Eat?, is the Passover comedy that became a worldwide holiday tradition!
It's the world's fastest Seder gone horribly awry. Ira (Michael Lerner) prides himself on running the fastest Seder in the west, much to the chagrin of newly religious son Ethan (Max Greenfield, New Girl). Things get screwy when younger son Zeke (Ben Feldman) slips his ornery dad a dose of special psychedelic ecstasy at the beginning of the evening. Mom (Lesley Ann Warren) brings a special friend to dinner and now the family is taking sides. By the end of the evening, Ira has become a modern day Moses leading his family to the promised land of family forgiveness. But they are all so stubborn, it would be easier to part the Red Sea.
Jack Klugman co-stars in his final film role.
